The 100 Black Men of Metro Baton Rouge, LTD formally introduced six new members at its monthly meeting on Monday, August 16th. The members were: James Raymond Benford III, (sponsor, Jesse Spland); Kofi Lomotey, (sponsor, John Smith): Christopher J. Rogers, (Sponsor, Adell Brown); Percy Singleton, (sponsor, Fred Sibley); Leodrey Williams, (sponsor, Adell Brown); and Jamar J. Hebert (sponsor, Kevin Barnes). Applicants were introduced by Herman Johnson, membership chair, and presented with a membership certificate by Adell Brown, president. Each new member was given an opportunity to make a short acceptance speech. The activity concluded with a reception provided by Fred Sibley, chief administrative officer.
