Celebrity makeup artist AJ Crimson brings academy to N.O., Nov.3

NEW ORLEANS–
AJ Crimson is the go-to guy for all things makeup. Makeup artist to the stars, Crimson has built a solid reputation for creating flawless, picture ready looks. It’s no secret why celebrities such as R&B singer and former Destiny’s Child member Letoya Luckett, Adreinne Balion, and BET’s The Game star Lauren London call upon him to take care of one of their most prized assets: their faces.

On November 3, fellow artists can gleam some of Crimson’s knowledge about makeup and the industry. Crimson is hosting The Crimson Academy at The W Hotel (Poydras Street) in New Orleans, from 1pm to 3pm  (Registration is $175.00) followed by a FREE Mix, Mingle and Makeup Chat from 4-7 p.m open to any beauty enthusiast.  The Crimson Academy will offer first-hand insight to some of Crimson’s tricks of the trade.

“This is education at its best,” Crimson said. “You’re not only going to get the education, you are going to get the full artist kit, with more than 15 years of experience behind it; from celebrity to red carpet. I’m here to share it with you.”

Earlier this year, Crimson launched the AJ Crimson Beauty line or cosmetic products.  Each registered participant will receive the AJ Crimson Dual Skin set (Artist Kit), which includes the 8 piece set (valued at $320.00)   “I realized that there was something missing in the world of makeup. AJ Crimson Beauty Products are specifically designed to enhance your natural beauty.  I never want you to be hidden in the makeup. Our mission is to address the needs of every woman,”said Crimson.

Karen Dupiche, four-time Emmy Award winning make-up artist for ABC’s The View, uses Crimson’s products.
“He has the most fabulous product out there for women of color, the BB Cream,” said Dupiche.   “It makes us look like us instead of somebody else. It matches our face and neck in color. I’ve used it on Sherri Shepherd on The View and it’s fabulous.”
